What is a Pentium Dual-Core? For instance like the T2080 as can be found in the Dell Inspiron 6400? Is it a single core Pentium or is it an Core 2 Duo?

Solution

It is a dual-core processor. Single-core pentium processor names start with `1' (E1060, E1040 and E1020) instead of dual-core names which start with `2' (T2060, T2080, T2130) The thermal design power of the T2080 is 31W.
