Replace battery SR44 of bicycle computer Sigma Sport Targa. Current settings:

ODO: 12200
KMH: 2145

Casing says SR44, but existing battery is V13GA (LR44), which worked just fine. What're the differences? From http://www.varta-consumer.nl:

Bought a `Panasonic LR44' at `Blokker' shop for about € 2,00.

I tried to shorten the chain `Shimano HG53 for 9 speed' from 116 links to 112 links, but wasn't able to do so with my good ol' chain perforator tool: I had to apply too much force, and even then I wasn't able to withdraw the pin... Left the chain at 116 links...

Or RTFM: "If it necessary to adjust the length of the chain due to a change in the number of sprocket teeth, make the cut at some other place than the place where the chain has been joined using a reinforced connecting pin or an end pin. The chain will be damaged if it is cut at a place where it has been joined with a reinforced connecting pin or an end pin."

20071218

Back wheel body `Shimano Deore LX' broken. The sprockets could spin freely both ways and didn't connect to the back wheel anymore. Thinking back, starting this summer, I could hear small cracks coming from my chain/sprockets/backwheel and this must've been it...
