Mutt: Firefox not taking foreground

Problem

I've configured mutt to view a text/html attachment within a new firefox tab. The firefox tab is created all right, but firefox doesn't come into the foreground.

The problem does not occur if I set google-chrome to view text/html attachments.

Environment

  • KDE-4.4.5
  • Firefox-3.6.18

Solution

Set the `Focus stealing prevention level' to `None' via { KDE | System Settings | Window Behavior | Window Behavior | Tab Focus | Focus stealing prevention level }. Mine was set at `Low', which caused firefox to stay in the background.
